ILOILO City – Police arrested a resident of Barangay Botongon, Estancia, Iloilo.
Officers seized seven ammunition for an M16 in the house of Francis Labaclado, a police report showed.
Police officers wielding a court-issued warrant searched the house at around 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
The 42-year-old resident was taken to the Estancia municipal police station.
It was not immediately clear why Labaclado would possess the ammunition.
A charge for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act could be filed against him./PN
