THE Philippine Coast Guard on Saturday advised sea travelers for the holidays to avoid bringing prohibited items to minimize delay in ports.
As the influx of province-bound travelers for the long holiday weekend is expected to make ports busy, PCG spokesperson Commander Armand Balilo asked passengers to bear with the security processes as these are needed to ensure that their travel is safe.
“‘Wag na lang dalin ‘yung magiging cause ng delay ng kanilang biyahe sa inspeksiyon kagaya ng matutulis na bagay, hazardous chemicals, firecrackers,” Balilo said.
The PCG official said so far no problems have been monitored in ports. (With GMA News/PN)
