ILOILO City – For firing his unlicensed gun, a man got arrested in Barangay Abaca, San Enrique, Iloilo.
The 33-year-old resident Victor Fangcobela was detained in the lockup cell of the San Enrique municipal police station.
The police nabbed him at around 8:20 p.m. on Dec. 26 after he indiscriminately fired his gun, alarming village residents.
Recovered from Fangcobela were a .45-caliber pistol loaded with seven bullets and six empty shells of the same gun.
Fangcobela will face charges for violation of Republic Act 01591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
