ILOILO City – For allegedly maltreating a woman, a laborer was arrested in Barangay Igcagay, Libertad, Antique.
Officers from the municipal police station caught resident Tomas Chavez at around 2:20 p.m. on Dec. 26 after they received a complaint from Cristina Malineza.
Chavez tried to evade arrest but failed.
He is now detained in the lockup facility of the Libertad municipal police station and will face a physical injury charge./PN
