ILOILO City – A 17-year-old boy was killed in a commotion yesterday in Barangay Calumpang, Molo district, a police report showed.
Resident Geater Sabrine died of stab wounds on the chest, the report added.
According to investigation, Sabrine was walking with his friends at around 4 a.m. on Dec. 27 when a group of unidentified persons waylaid them.
It later resulted in a commotion.
Sabrine tried to flee on boar a tricycle but he was chased and got stabbed.
He was rushed to the Iloilo Doctor’s Hospital where he expired.
It was not immediately clear what triggered the commotion.
Police have yet to identify the suspects./PN
