BACOLOD City – A woman was walking on the national road in Barangay San Teodoro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental when she got hit by a speeding motorcycle.
Friday’s crash led to the death of the 60-year-old Rosalinda Garlit of the hinterland Barangay Bia-o, Binalbagan.
It was around 1:20 p.m. that day when a Suzuki motorcycle driven by the 27-year-old Barangay Carabalan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental resident Regie Daliva bumped into Garlit in front of an Adventist Church in the town.
Garlit fell on the concrete pavement and sustained head and body injuries.
She was rushed to Binalbagan Infirmary where she expired.
Daliva, on the other hand, surrendered to the police./PN
