ILOILO City – Emergency responders have yet to find the body of a girl who drowned in a river in Barangay Bulwang, Numancia, Aklan.
The 6-year-old Piona Obamos accidentally fell down the river around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, a police report showed.
Police added that Obamos was with her grandmother and elder sister when she slipped.
The search and retrieval operation was ongoing as of this writing./PN
