MANILA – Ride-sharing platform Grab revealed on Sunday just how much its users spent on rides this year.
After Grab users began posting on social networks their “Grab bill” for 2018, the company released a statement saying that on average, Grab users spent about P7,000 on rides in the last 12 months.
The top 5 percent of Grab customers meanwhile spent an average of P45,000 and did around 8 times more trips than the average user.
Grab also said that the platform has served over 920 million kilometers worth of rides to its customers.
The company also said it was looking forward to further growing its operations with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board’s plan to approve 30,000 new ride-sharing permits. (ABS-CBN News)
