ILOILO City – He was having a drinking binge at a KTV bar in Barangay Gines, Janiuay, Iloilo when he got arrested.
The 24-year-old Jefrrey Solvero was nabbed for owning an unlicensed gun, police said.
Officers from the Janiuay police station apprehended Solvero around 10 p.m. on Saturday inside Acacia KTV Bar after they saw a gun tucked in his pants.
Police confiscated the gun, which was a .45-caliber pistol loaded with seven bullets, when Solvero failed to present a license.
Solvero was detained in the lockup facility of the Janiuay police station. He faces charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
