ILOILO City – In Barangay San Jose, Arevalo district, a woman was arrested over illegal drugs.
The 28-year-old Sheena Amleah Salcedo – a call center agent – was nabbed after selling a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer around 9:24 p.m. on Monday.
Aside from the buy-bust item, another sachet of suspected shabu was recovered from Salcedo, a resident of Fatima Subdivision in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Arevalo, police said.
She was detained in the lockup cell of the Arevalo district police station.
Salcedo will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
