BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu weighing 35 grams was recovered in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Alijis.
Wednesday’s operation led to the arrest of 46-year-old Alijis resident Angelyn Arriola and 24-year-old Remy Saldua of Barangay Vista Alegre, a police report showed.
The suspected illegal drugs confiscated from the suspects were valued at around P360,000, police said.
Personnel of the City Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Arriola and Saldua after the two sold suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer for P1,000.
Aside from the suspected drugs, a coin purse and a digital weighing scale were also recovered from the suspects.
Arriola and Saldua were detained in the lockup facility of Police Station 7, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
