ILOILO City – Nine sachets of suspected shabu were recovered in a drug buy-bust operation at the Iloilo Fishing Port on Friday morning.
The suspected illegal drugs were seized from Xerx Bayani, a police report showed.
Officers from the Iloilo City Police Station 1 arrested Bayani after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer for P700 around 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 11.
When frisked, Bayani yielded eight more sachets containing the same substance.
Bayani was detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 1. He will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
