BACOLOD City – Two individuals were arrested over illegal gambling in Barangay Buenavista, Escalante City, Negros Occidental.
They were the 71-year-old Remedios Berdensin and 42-year-old Joel Castro, both residents of Buenavista, a police report showed.
Officers from the Escalante City police station nabbed Berdensin and Castro after they were caught engaging in jai-alai on Jan. 11, the report added.
Recovered from the two were P162 gambling money, tally sheets and tipsters.
