BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in Silay City, Negros Occidental for allegedly violating Republic Act 9262, or the Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act of 2004.
Jessar Cabrera of Barangay Mambulac, Silay City was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant on Saturday.
He was detained in the lockup facility of the Silay City police station.
The court recommended a P72,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
