BACOLOD City – A teacher drowned in a beach in Sitio Calumpang, Barangay Bocana, Ilog, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
The 25-year-old Jowen Atellado of Barangay Tapi, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental was on board a boat with his friends when he accidentally fell to the water around 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 12.
He was fished out of the water and rushed to the Lorenzo Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City where attending physician Dr. Jade Leuterio pronounced him “dead on arrival.”/PN
