Cellphone vendor falls in antidrug op

ILOILO City – In Barangay North Baluarte, Molo, a man was arrested in an antidrug operation on Sunday.

The 34-year-old cellphone vendor Harold Palma was caught after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer for P600, a police report showed.

Officers from the Iloilo City Police Station 1 staged the sting operation around 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 20.

When frisked, Palma yielded four more sachets of suspected shabu.

Palma was detained. He will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
