MANILA – Higher pump prices of petroleum products will again greet motorists today, Tuesday, marking the third consecutive week of fuel price increases.
In an advisory, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. said it will raise the prices per liter of diesel by P0.40, gasoline by P0.10, and kerosene by P0.15.
TOTAL (Philippines) Inc., PTT Petroleum Philippines Inc., and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. are implementing similar changes, except for kerosene – a product which they do not carry.
The changes will take effect at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22. Other oil companies have yet to announce similar adjustments for the week.
According to data from the Department of Energy (DOE), the prices per liter of diesel currently range from P33.45 to P40.98, gasoline from P40.05 to P53.60, and kerosene from P38.42 to P48.50. (GMA News)
