BACOLOD City – Three men were arrested in an antidrug operation in Barangay Alijis, a police report showed.
The 29-year-old Ronnie Barera of Barangay Taculing and Barangay Alijis residents John Java, 39, and Arthur Guites, 33, were caught around 10:55 p.m. on Monday.
Officers from Police Station 7 nabbed them after they sold suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer for P500, the report stated.
Five sachets of suspected shabu, a .9mm pistol loaded with four live bullets, a pouch, and a bag containing drug paraphernalia were recovered from the suspects.
Barera, Java and Guites were detained in the lockup facility of Police Station 7.
They were facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act)./PN
