BACOLOD City – Family problem was what drove a man to commit suicide in Purok Homesite, Barangay Camansi, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, police said.
The 34-year-old resident Adrian Barreto was found dead hanging inside his bedroom with rope tied around his neck, a police report showed.
It was his mother Alma who found him around 6 a.m. on Monday. Alma then reported to the police.
According to Alma, Barreto was having problems after his wife left him 11 months ago.
Officers from the Kabankalan City police station ruled out foul play in Barreto’s death.
