ILOILO City – Twelve minors were apprehended at Smallville Complex in Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao district on Thursday night.
The children – who were selling peanuts, fish crackers and other food items at the commercial complex – violated Regulation Ordinance 2011-676, which prohibits minors from roaming around the city between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m.
Personnel from the Iloilo City Police Office’s Women and Children Protection Desk and the Department of Social Welfare and Development led the operation past 10 p.m. on Jan. 24.
Two adults, who were with the children, were also caught.
