ILOILO City – A man who owns an unlicensed firearm was arrested in Barangay Jayubo, Lambunao, Iloilo, a police report showed.
Resident Carmelo Libuna was nabbed around 1 a.m. on Sunday, the report added.
Officers from the municipal police station recovered from him an improvised M16 gun with an empty shell.
The police were able to seize the gun from Libuna when they responded to a commotion in the village.
Libuna was detained in the Lambunao police station lockup facility./PN
