ILOILO City – He was listed as the No. 9 most wanted person in the municipal police station of Banate, Iloilo.
The 40-year-old resident Albert Balitor was arrested in Barangay San Salvador, Banate at around 12 p.m. on Wednesday, a police report showed.
Balitor was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant the Municipal Circuit Trial Court in Barotac Viejo, Iloilo issued in relation to the illegal fishing charge he faces.
According to cops, the suspect had been hiding for four years.
Balitor was taken to the Banate police station where he was detained.
The court recommended a P20,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
