BACOLOD City – Police arrested a murder suspect in Purol Igkalayo, Barangay Santa Cruz, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Municipal police head Chief Inspector Sherlock Gabana Jr. identified the suspect as 31-year-old Michael Hilarbo, resident of Santa Cruz.
Hilarbo was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 30, a police report showed.
Personnel from the Murcia police station, Provincial Intelligence Unit and Regional Mobile Force Batallion 6 served the warrant issued by Judge Estefanio Libutan of the Regional Trial Court Branch 50 in Bacolod City dated Oct. 12, 2016.
Hilarbo was detained in the Murcia police station lockup facility.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
