HOW do you start your day right?
According to comedy star Boobay, the best way to start a week is by watching “The Boobay and Tekla Show” which airs every Sunday night after the magazine show “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” at GMA Network.
The show which started last Jan. 27 features the comedic prowess of the duo Boobay and Tekla.
According to Boobay, this is the first time that she and Tekla are together in a one-hour comedy show.
“Start your week right. So, paano nila sisimulang maganda ang kanilang lingo manuod ng ‘The Boobay and Tekla Show’,” Boobay told the public.
Tekla, on the other hand, said they have prepared a lot of laughter and fun for the viewers to feel and enjoy.
“Expect the unexpected sa pinalakas at pinagsanib puersa na show. Kumbaga walang barriers, hindi lang talaga basta sila nanuno-od kundi kasama sila doon mismo sa show,” said Tekla.
Tekla added that there will be a segment also that they will be joined by some Kapuso artists as guests.
Tekla considered this project as a big challenge to them but nevertheless, they are very thankful for the continued trust of the GMA management to them. They vowed to do their best for the show.
Among the challenges which Tekla cited are the possible on-the-spot “task” from the writers of the show that they need to deliver.
“Ang challenge dito sa show namin minsan hindi mo alam ang gagawin mo, magugulat ka na lang. Di ba parang ganung kahirap na mag-isip ka na, kailangan maisip namin agad-agad. So, doon masusubukan yong mga natutunan namin,” said Tekla. (Glenda Tayona/PN)
