A HOMECOMING fit for a queen is waiting for Catriona Gray as she makes her official homecoming since being crowned Miss Universe 2018.
Gray, who is currently residing in New York until she finishes her reign, is set to return to the Philippines on February 20 for a series of activities.
Included in her agenda would be a visit to Tondo, Manila where she has been supporting Young Focus Philippines to provide access to education for children living in the area.
She will also have a homecoming parade that will provide Filipinos the opportunity to see her now as a Miss Universe. The parade will traverse the streets of of Manila and Makati on February 21 and another one at the Araneta Center on Feb. 23.
The 24-year-old Filipino-Australian won the Philippines’ fourth Miss Universe crown last December, pulling all the stops from a giant lantern strapped to her back, a slow-motion twirl in a hot pink bikini, and a long gown in flame hues that symbolized a mythical Filipino bird.
Pia Wurtzbach last won the Miss Universe crown for the Philippines in 2015 and the succeeding edition was hosted in Manila. (ABS-CBN News)
