BACOLOD City – The tricycle they were riding crashed against a truck on the national highway in Barangay Camba-og, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental.
The 24-year-old John Mark Granada of Barangay Gargato, Hinigaran died while the 24-year-old resident Rey Pellejo was injured, a police report showed.
The crash happened around 10:50 p.m. on Feb. 4, it added.
The Isuzu truck driver was identified as 39-year-old Rene Seneres of Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Granada and Pellejo were rushed to the Hinigaran Medical Clinic in Hinigaran where the former was pronounced “dead on arrival.”
Pellejo, meanwhile, was still recuperating./PN
