ILOILO City – He was collecting bets for an illegal numbers game, police said.
Charlie Alcarioto was arrested in Barangay 4, San Miguel, Iloilo after police officers caught him engaging in bookies.
Alcarioto – a resident of Barangay 4 – was nabbed around 10:15 a.m. on Feb. 4, a police report showed.
Police recovered bet money worth P50 and gambling paraphernalia from Alcarioto, the report added.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station./PN
