SINGER Inigo Pascual mourned the death of his fan, Arnie Espina, who passed away after battling acute myeloid leukemia.
The singer shared the sad news through his social media accounts on Wednesday.
Last month, Pascual even headlined a benefit concert for Espina dubbed “This One’s for Arnie,” which also featured performances from Pascual’s friends and other artists.
The singer’s father Piolo was also present at the concert.
“If I could only feel your hug one more time… if I could only hear you laugh again.. I can’t believe this is happening,” wrote Pascual, as he thanked Espina on Instagram.
“I will carry you in my heart forever, with every performance and every song I write… kahit na konting panahon lang kitang nakilala sobrang laki ng epekto mo sa ‘kin at hinding hindi ko makakalimutan yun. Mahal na mahal kita Arnie. Sorry kung ‘di ako umabot. Sorry kung hindi kita natawagan man lang… Mami-miss ka namin ng Loveties ng sobra sobra.
“Lord, maraming salamat at binigyan niyo kami ng pagkakataon na makilala at makasama si Arnie… Till we meet again… I love you, Arnie,” Pascual added. (ABS-CBN News)
