BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in an antidrug operation in Barangay Recreo, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
The 28-year-old Joefe Pausa was nabbed around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, a police report showed.
Pausa – resident of Barangay Miranda, Pontevedra – was arrested after he allegedly sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P500.
Seized from him were four sachets of suspected shabu, a cellphone and P150 cash.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station.
He faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
