BACOLOD City – Three drug suspects were arrested in an entrapment operation
in Barangay Banago.
Police identified them as Edmund Malanday, Darryl Punayan and Maria Theresa Juarez.
Eight sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia were recovered from them, a police report showed.
The suspects were arrested after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P1,000, the report added.
Antidrug personnel from Police Station 3 conducted the sting operation.
Malanday, Punayan and Juarez were detained in the police station’s custodial facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
