BACOLOD City – He allegedly hacked his own brother to death.
The 30-year-old Roldan Isona was arrested for killing his younger brother in Sitio Linogan, Barangay San Miguel, Tanjay City, Negros Oriental, a police report showed.
Police identified the victim as 24-year-old Genario Isona.
According to the investigation, Genario and Roldan had a heated argument over dinner.
This prompted Roldan to hack his brother on the neck using a machete.
Genario was brought to the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital but the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Roldan was detained in the lockup cell of the Tanjay City police station.
Charges were filed against him./PN
