ILOILO City – Five individuals were arrested for illegal gambling in Barangay Toledo, Nabas, Aklan, a police report showed.
They were residents Cesar Manuel, Samson David, Ronald Malicse, Joey Salcedo, and Glenn Atelano, the report added.
Police officers chanced upon them playing poker around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Gambling money which amounted to P805 and a deck of playing cards were recovered from them, police said.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Nabas municipal police station./PN
