ILOILO City – Suspected shabu valued at around P14,000 was recovered in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Veterans Village, City Proper, a police report showed.
The suspected illegal drugs contained in 12 sachets were confiscated from resident Jenny Elumba, the report added.
Elumba was caught after she sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P1,100 around 4:40 p.m. on Sunday.
She was detained in the lockup facility of the Iloilo City Police Station 1.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were filed against the suspect./PN
