BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 3, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Suspected shabu valued at around P12,000 was recovered from 35-year-old carpenter Arnel Gonzales, a police report showed.
He was caught after he sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P1,000 around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, it added.
When frisked, the suspect yielded five more sachets of suspected shabu, a cellphone and drug paraphernalia.
Gonzales was detained in the San Carlos City police station’s custodial facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
