ILOILO City – He had been hiding from the police for about six years.
The 30-year-old Richard Maloloy-on was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant on Tuesday, a police report showed.
Maloloy-on – a resident of Barangay Caingin, La Paz – faces a domestic violence charge in violation of Republic Act 9262, or the Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act of 2004.
He was arrested in Barangay Ungka, Jaro, the report stated.
Maloloy-on was detained in the lockup facility of the Jaro police station.
The court recommended an P80,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
