BACOLOD City – Four sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from a man in Sitio Carolina, Barangay 2, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
The 21-year-old tricycle driver Glenn Pedrosa was nabbed in a drug buy-bust operation around 9:48 p.m. on Wednesday, a police report showed.
Pedrosa, a resident of the village, was caught after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P300, the report added.
When frisked, the suspect yielded three more sachets containing the same substance, police said.
The confiscated illegal drugs were valued at around P2,300.
Pedrosa – detained in the La Carlota City police station lockup cell – was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
