BACOLOD City – Fifty sachets of suspected illegal drugs weighing about 90 grams were recovered in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 1.
The suspected shabu valued at around P1.125 million was seized from residents Benjamin Agravante and Benjamin Montalvo, a police report showed.
Agravante and Montalvo were caught after they allegedly sold shabu to an undercover officer around 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
Aside from suspected illegal drugs, a firearm and drug paraphernalia were also confiscated.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 2.
They were facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
