ILOILO City – Shabu estimated to be worth P20,000 was recovered in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Balabago, Jaro district.
The illegal drugs contained in 17 sachets were confiscated from Patrick Jadello Serra and Elle Jeh Bon Divinagracia, both residents of Barangay Balabago, a police report showed.
Serra and Divinagracia were arrested around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday after they sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer for P1,100, the report added.
They were detained in the lockup facility of the Jaro police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
