BACOLOD City – Suspected illegal drugs valued at around P1.3 million was confiscated in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Palinpinon, Valencia, Negros Oriental.
Seven sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from 28-year-old Jericho Pinili, 22-year-old Fremone Caballero and 25-year-old Felarica Monitte Caballero – all residents of Barangay Taclobo, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, a police report showed.
The suspects were nabbed after they sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P500 around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, the report added.
Jericho, Fremone and Felarica were detained in the lockup cell of the Valencia police station.
They were facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
