MANILA – Samahang Basketball ng Pilipinas Coaches’ Commission head Jong Uichico will spearhead the two-day NBA-SBP Coaches’ Clinic Level 1 Grassroots this weekend at the St. John’s Institute Gym in Bacolod City.
Uichico is a nine-time PBA champion coach, two-time Southeast Asian Games champion mentor and former Gilas Pilipinas assistant coach.
Negros Basketball Association head Oscar “Dodong” Bascon said the two-day event will cater Level 1 grassroots coaches and is highly recommended for Physical Education (PE) teachers, PE majors in both elementary and high school levels.
Following the two-day clinic, the participants are set to undergo a written exam which the SBP Coaches’ Commission will check and results will be sent to participants through their respective Regional Director after 15 days.
Registration will start at 7:30 a.m. with fee pegged at P200 excluding of event T-Shirt (P 350) – optional and SBP Coaches’ ID processing fee (P200).
Participants must provide 2 pieces 2×2 ID picture, colored with white background.
