BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu weighing about 10 grams valued at around P110,000 was confiscated in a sting operation in Barangay Miranda, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
Twenty-nine-year-old “high-value” target Richard Tantua of Barangay Miranda, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental yielded three sachets of suspected illegal drugs, a police report showed.
Tantua was nabbed after he sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P1,000 on Friday, the report added.
Aside from suspected illegal drugs, a cellphone and other drug paraphernalia were also seized.
He was detained in the Pontevedra police station’s custodial facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
