BACOLOD City – There is no election hotspot in the city for the coming midterm election, according to the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) officer-in-charge Henry Biñas.
Biñas said the city is now in the “green” category which indicates no violence, or election-related incidents will happen.
Biñas admitted the BCPO is still not complacent and fully monitors area in the city.
“Indi man angud kita magkumpyansa kay kabalo kita basta mag election kung indi man mag-away ang mga kandidato, ang mga supporters kag leaders nila ang posible nga mag-inaway,” he said.
Biñas said the BCPO has enough police personnel, but other personnel may possibly be augmented to other provinces, city, or municipality.
He noted every voting center in the city will be deployed with two police officers for the May 13 polls./PN
