ILOILO City – A house raid that sought the recovery of a loose gun yielded a negative result in Barangay Poblacion Norte, Balasan, Iloilo.
The unlicensed gun was not found in Jaime Lao’s house on Tuesday, a police report showed.
Officers from the municipal police station served Lao a search warrant around 6 a.m. that day.
Lao was accused of illegal possession of a firearm, the report stated.
Due to failure to recover the gun, police were not able to arrest Lao./PN
