MAINE Mendoza brought along a special company with her during this year’s grand alumni homecoming of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management major in Culinary Arts.
The event, held at The Island in Bonifacio Global City on Saturday night, saw the actress with none other than her former co-star and rumored boyfriend Arjo Atayde, whom she admitted to be dating exclusively early this month.
The college’s official student magazine The Benildean on Monday shared scoops showing how inseparable the two were throughout the night.
It was in January when Arjo first revealed their relationship status during a press interview for his latest film ‘TOL. “What you see is what you get. We’re dating, I’m happy. Hanggang doon na lang po muna tayo,” he said.
Maine, for her part, revealed her involvement with Arjo in a blog entry talking about the current state of her love life. “It’s true, I am dating Arjo Atayde. … I wouldn’t deny that our friendship is growing deeper this time. He always goes out of his way to make me extra happy and actually puts in effort in everything he does. I appreciate everything he does for me and I am happy that I get to experience such wonderful things,” she confessed, adding that the actor has introduced himself to her parents Teodoro and Mary Ann Mendoza at their Bulacan home in a previous occasion.
