THE twin children of “Rated K” host Korina Sanchez and senatorial candidate Mar Roxas have arrived in Manila.
Months-old Pepe and Pilar were welcomed by members of the media at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Monday.
“Iyan ang magpapahaba sa buhay nating dalawa,” Sanchez told reporters at the airport, adding that she appreciates all those who have been showing their love for the twins on social media.
Roxas, for his part, said in jest how their lives have changed because of the two babies: “Dati rati nagbibiyahe kami, siyempre may handcarry ka, ‘yung gadgets [mo]. Ngayon handcarry [na may] lampin at bote ng gatas.”
Sanchez and Roxas welcomed the twin babies early this year via gestational surrogacy in the United States.
Pepe and Pilar are Sanchez’ only children. Roxas has an adult son, Paolo, with former beauty queen Maricar Zaldarriaga. (ABS-CBN News)
