BACOLOD City – Police arrested a drug suspect in a sting operation in Barangay Bunga, Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental.
He was 27-year-old Elezandro Edem of Barangay Banago, police said.
Three sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from Edem’s possession, the police added.
Edem was nabbed after he allegedly sold illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P300 around 9:55 a.m. on Tuesday.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the Don Salvador Benedicto police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
