EXCEL FEEDS proudly marked its 25th year anniversary with a night of celebration and thanksgiving with its partners, customers, and employees, who have been part of its modest beginnings and marvellous journey.
The celebratory event recently held at Diversion 21 in Iloilo City, served as an avenue for Excel Feeds to recognize achievements and loyalty of its dealers and employees who all shared relevant contributions in the last 25 years.
In his opening speech, Excel VP for Trade Feeds, Engr. Terence S. Uygongco, said, āThe real asset of the company are you, our beloved partners, who have been with us for so many years, and our loyal and experienced employees, who have contributed to the companyās success. Thank you loyal partners and movers for helping the company get to where it is today.ā
Joining Engr. Terence S. Uygongco, was Dr. Felipe Uygongco, Vice-Chairman of La Filipina Group of Companies, and Dr. Norman Ramos, AVP for Trade Feeds.
During the event, everyone looked back at the joyful memories since the first bag of high quality feeds was produced in Iloilo City on March 1994. The success led to a second feed mill built in 2003 in Tondo, Manila.Ā These two modern plants were the first commercial feed mills in the country certified to ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System (FSMS); and conform to the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) international standards certifications issued by SGS Philippines.
