ILOILO City – The motorcycle they were riding bumped into a bicycle while navigating the road in Barangay Lapnag, Banga, Aklan.
Jet Nacnac, 27, and John Dioso – both from Capiz – were injured, a police report showed.
They were brought to the Dr. Rafael S. Tumbokon Memorial Hospital in Kalibo, Aklan for treatment.
Nacnac – a village councilman of Barangay Lagohon, Dumalag, Capiz – was on board the motorcycle with his friend Dioso around 11 p.m. on Good Friday when the crash happened.
The bicycle was driven by Danilo Jimenez, a resident of Barangay Lapnag, the report showed.
It was not immediately clear what circumstances led to the incident.
Jimenez was detained in the lockup cell of the Banga municipal police station./PN
