DESPITE his laid-back appearance and bearded look, John Lloyd Cruz was an easy face to recognize to some fans who spotted him last Wednesday in Lanao del Sur.
The former Kapamilya actor, who has been on hiatus from showbiz since late 2017, was snapped by fans in Wao town and even smiled for selfies.
Fans who caught sight of Cruz shared photos and videos on Facebook.
Cruz, an award-winning actor whose charm off-screen and as a sought-after endorser was tied with his boy-next-door looks, appeared decidedly scruffy, with long hair and a thick beard.
Since his “indefinite leave” as an ABS-CBN contract artist, Cruz has welcomed a first child with partner and former “Home Sweetie Home” co-star Ellen Adarna, and has participated in a number of art exhibits. (ABS-CBN News)
