BACOLOD City – The Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office (NOCPPO) awarded six police stations to recognize their efforts in fighting criminality and illegal drugs.
NOCPPO provincial director Colonel Romeo Baleros led the awarding ceremony dubbed as “Pagkilala Award” held at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Barangay Estefania.
“Starting this month we will hold a monthly awarding ceremony to recognize our policemen’s effort in fighting criminality and illegal drugs in Negros Occidental,” said Baleros on Monday.
San Carlos City police station and Manapla municipal police station bagged the top performer award in campaign against illegal drugs.
Kabankalan City police station and Murcia municipal police station meanwhile hailed as top performers in the campaign against wanted person.
Silay City Police Station and Don Salvador Benedicto Municipal police station also received the top performer award in the campaign against loose firearms.
“The recognition will surely boost the morale of our policemen to continue their job in ensuring public safety and security in the province” Baleros said./PN
